Microsoft Word to get text predictions in March

The new text predictions feature in Microsoft Word will work similarly to Google Docs’ Smart Compose option wherein by using machine learning to predict what words the user will need to complete the document’s content.

It was only last year when Microsoft originally announced a beta of text predictions.

According to reports, Word will highlight greyed-out predictions when users are writing a document. Then to accept these suggestions, the user will have to hit the Tab key or reject by hitting Escape. Text predictions can also be disabled by Word users.

Microsoft is planning to add text predictions to Word by next month in March.
