Despite a windshield pane cracking in midair, the SpiceJet flight arrives safely from Kandla to Mumbai

While a SpiceJet flight, Q400, was flying from Kandla, Gujarat to Mumbai, an outer pane of a windshield got cracked. Due to this midair mishap, passengers panicked.

“On July 5, 2022, SpiceJet Q400 aircraft was operating SG 3324 (Kandla – Mumbai). During cruise at FL230, P2 side windshield outer pane cracked. Pressurization was observed to be normal. The aircraft landed safely in Mumbai,” a SpiceJet spokesperson said.

Another SpiceJet Flight Rerouted To Karachi While Its Fuel Indicator Started Malfunctioning

Another midair crisis occurred in another SpiceJet flight that was flying from Dubai to Delhi. The flight had to be rerouted to Karachi immediately as there was a problem with its fuel indicator in the flight. The situation being looked into by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Such mishaps are not occurring for the first time with the SpiceJet Airlines, but this is the sixth time that they are facing such technical issue.
