Tesla invites its shareholders to vote at the Annual Shareholder Meeting

Tesla, the American automotive company is inviting its shareholders to vote at the 2022 Tesla Shareholding Meeting. The 2022 Annual Meeting of Shareholders is scheduled to be held on August 4, 2022. The meeting will be held virtually. However, for a limited number of stakeholders, the meeting will be held in person at Tesla’s Gigafactory Texas. The company will also webcast the meeting via the Internet. 

Tesla has updated the Voting Guide on their Investor relations website. The voting process may vary depending on the brokers. The procedure cast votes according to one’s respective brokers are updated on the website. A scroll-down list of brokers has been mentioned along with the specific procedures. For brokers whose name isn’t available in that list, there’s an option mentioned as “All Other Brokers” for such shareholders. 

Tesla advises Shareholders to vote with management recommendations. 

Tesla mentioned on their Twitter handle @Tesla that each shareholder has a say in their direction. Tesla also wants the shareholder’s say in whether Tesla should be allowed to do a 3:1 split. 

CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk retweeted a tweet by Tesla and requested the shareholders to cast their vote.
