Samsung is going through a hard time with falling sales and profit

Samsung has been facing a hard time and that is well reflected in its provisional results for the Q4 of 2022 that it announced recently. It shows that in the fourth quarter, sales decreased by 8.83% month-on-month, and operating profit decreased by 60.37% year-on-year.  Its sales plunged to 8.58% year-on-year, and operating profit decreased by 69% year-on-year. There won’t be anything wrong in saying that this is an effect of inflation and an increase in interest rates.

Experts have said that the extent of inflation can be higher than the previous month. And it was recently that Taiwan chip manufacturing companies said that they would be increasing the price of chips. Chips being the most important role in tech products can drive the cost of it. This report less or more shows the condition of other companies too that are facing loss. As per the reports the sales are likely to go down and hit it more than this.
