Nothing aims to take nothing to make product and leave nothing behind when replaced with ASI partnership

Nothing founder Carl Pei took his Twitter account to share the good news with the users. This news is about Nothing joining Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI). He shared a video in which Nothing shows the kind of aluminium that it procures and recycles which is used in the manufacturing of Nothing phones. Sharing the video he wrote “We’re proud to have joined the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI). This a critical step towards continuing our responsible aluminium sourcing for our products.

Building a sustainable future has always been core to Nothing. That’s why Phone (1) uses 100% recycled aluminium”.

Aluminium Stewardship Initiative is an industry-led initiative that promotes sustainability throughout the aluminium value chain.ASI welcomed Nothing and wrote “ASI is pleased to announce that Nothing has joined as a Downstream Supporter member” on its official website. Nothing joining this initiative registered its happiness to be a part of this initiative and wrote “Take nothing from the Earth to make our product, and leave nothing behind when it is replaced”. The company also wrote that this partnership will help Nothing to push “meaningful, sustainable change in the industry”.
