Heard about the clash between Foxconn workers and police now get to know the reason behind it

Recently a clash broke down between Foxconn workers and police in China. This major breakdown occurred because they were not allowed to leave the plant. Foxconn plant is one of the largest Apple iPhone manufacturers that manufacture 70% of the global supply. But a Twitter user named Jennifer Zeng took her Twitter account to reveal the reason behind this clash.

It was caused by the disappointment that workers felt after being hired on a false contract. China is still paranoid about the coronavirus and has been implementing severe lockdowns since its breakdown. With the zero COVID policy, Foxconn workers were told that newly hired workers would not be mixed with older workers who are more susceptible to this disease. But they not only lied but this contract was also broken. This caused a major outrage and led to this brutal clash.
