Akasa Air, a Rakesh Jhunjhunwala-backed airline will fly from August 7!

Akasa Air, an Indian low-cost airline has revealed that it will launch its commercial flight on August 7, which will fly from Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Kochi along with the two Boeing 737 Max aircraft. Also, it is expected that the flight will introduce more new routes in future.

Consequently, Akasa Air will launch its operations by providing 28 weekly flights between Mumbai and Ahmedabad on August 7. Afterwards, from August 13, the flight will be starting along with an additional 28 weekly flights between Bengaluru and Kochi.

Also, the airline has revealed a menu for the onboard meals and snacks which will be available for pre-booking and onboard purchase. Additionally, the airline is planning to launch its international service in the year 2023.

Akasa Air is a brand of SNV Aviation Private Limited which is an Indian low-cost airline in Mumbai. The CEO of the airline, Vinay Dube, has said that Akasa aims to have 18 more aircraft by the end of 2022 and to add over 12-14 aircraft per year.
