OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition likely to launch in March

OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition is in the works. Last week, tipster Digital Chat Station shared the key details of the device. Today, he took to Weibo to reveal its release timeframe.

According to the tipster, the OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition is tentatively scheduled to launch in China in March. Earlier this month, the company unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1-powered OnePlus Ace 2 in the home market. The Dimensity Edition of the device is said to be powered by the Dimensity 9000 SoC.

As per previous reports, the OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition will arrive with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels. The Dimensity 9000-powered device is likely to be equipped with 16 GB of RAM.

The device will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging support. On the front, it will have a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The rear shell of the device will feature a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition will offer up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The design of the Ace 2 DE is likely to be similar to the OPPO Reno 8 Pro+ that debuted last year in China.
