The Moto X70 Air smartphone was introduced in China in October 2025, and later, this device was launched as the Motorola Edge 70 in the global market. It was assumed that soon the device would make its way in India as well, and just a few days back, it was also tipped that Motorola would be introducing its Motorola Edge 70 smartphone around December 15th in India. But there was no official confirmation made related to the launch.
Motorola Edge 70 is now confirmed to launch soon in India, and the microsite for this upcoming device has also been made live on Flipkart.
The device is teased to arrive with a 5.99mm thin body, and just the global variant, the Indian variant will also arrive in Lily Pad, Grey, and Bronze Green colour options. The company is expected to tease some more details of the Motorola Edge 70 in the coming days and also announce the Indian launch date of this device.
Previous reports revealed that the Indian variant may come with a larger battery than the 4,800mAh unit found in the global model. The phone is said to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, a 50MP triple-camera setup (likely referring to dual 50MP rear cameras and a 50MP front selfie shooter), and support for reverse charging. It is also tipped to be priced around Rs 35K.
