The device boasts a 16:9.5 aspect ratio, reshaping the form factor of the candybar phone. The wide design expands the display area, opening up a new content experience. The display offers 6500 nits local peak brightness, 2232×1320 ultra-high resolution, 96.1% ultra-high screen-to-body ratio and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. It offers a broad reading experience to users, allowing them to grasp more content at a glance. The device is 6.68mm thin, weighs 201g, and is equipped with a 7000 mAh battery. This is the first smartphone to be equipped with HarmonyOS 7 that boasts a brand-new 3D space offering an overall transparent design and light-sensing interaction.
There are four colour options: Phantom Night Black, Zero Degree White, Leaping Shadow Red and Linen Grey, while it comes with three storage variants: 12/256GB, 12/512GB and 12GB/1TB.
It is rumoured to feature a 6.39-inch display and be powered by the Kirin 9030S SoC.
Pre-reservations for this device have started in China via Huawei Mall and authorised e-commerce platforms.
