Honor Magic V6 officially confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, red colour option also teased

Honor will unveil several products at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2026, with the event scheduled for 1st March 2026. Ahead of this, Honor has now officially confirmed the SoC and even the rear design material details.

Honor Magic V6 – Processor and Rear Design Material Details Revealed

Via its Weibo account, Honor has now confirmed that the Honor Magic V6 will come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC built on the 3nm process and featuring the third-gen Oryon CPU. As per the details available, the Honor Magic V6 will likely take the crown of being the first foldable smartphone to come with this processor.

In another post on Weibo, Honor also reveals the rear design and the material used. The teaser confirms the red colour option as “Red Rabbit” (translated from Chinese), and confirms that the rear panel is made of eco-friendly horsehide leather, which is treated with a super nano-coating. This coating not only enhances durability but also gives the surface a subtle shine and a smooth, soft texture, which Honor claims is similar to French velvet.

Visually, the device stands out because of its octagonal dome DECO design around the camera module, which is decorated with a jewel-like star trail pattern. Rather than being purely decorative, the structured design also helps the camera area blend neatly with the overall body.

The hinge cover has also been carefully crafted to support the slim dual-screen structure. It ensures that the two halves align symmetrically when folded, giving a balanced look and a comfortable grip during daily use.

On top of this, as per previous reports, it will have a 7,160mAh battery, 120W fast wired charging support, a 200MP main camera sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom on the rear side.
