UFC: Rafael Fiziev and Chase Sherman honored with POTN

On Sunday, UFC fighters, Rafael Fiziev and Chase Sherman were honored with the “Performance of the Night”.

Fiziev is an Azerbaijani professional mixed martial artist, who currently competes in the Lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). As of May 16, 2022, he is ranking 10th in the UFC Lightweight rankings. Fiziev made his professional MMA debut in 2015. He fought in Asian regional promotions like ROAD FC and the American promotion Titan FC before he signed with UFC.

Fiziev On August 5, 2020, declared on his social media that he had signed a new, four-fight contract with the UFC.

He was scheduled to face Renato Moicano on November 28, 2020, at UFC on ESPN: Blaydes vs Lewis. However, Moicano pulled out on November 28 after testing positive for COVID-19, and the bout was rescheduled for UFC 256. Fiziev won the fight via TKO in the first round. This win earned him his first Performance of the Night award.

Sherman is an American professional mixed martial artist and former bare-knuckle boxer. A professional MMA competitor since 2014. He competed for the UFC and Titan FC. Sherman made his promotional debut on August 6, 2016, at UFC Fight Night 92 against Justin Ledet.
