India

No doubt, the Men in Blue are on the top of the heap. Overall the team is by far the most experienced and professional team in the world at the moment. Key players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah are some players who can single handedly take the game away from the opposite team. Moreover, they are a team who are in top five of every ICC ranking and hence they are now the No. 1 T20I team with their successful series against England. Hence, India have not gone to win an ICC tournament since 2013 but they are now the favourites to win the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia.

New Zealand

The Blackcaps have completely transformed as a team since the past 6-7 years. Under the captaincy of Kane Willamson the were runners up in the 2015 World Cup, 2019 World Cup and the T20 World Cup in 2021. Kiwis were the winners of the inaugural World Test Championship 2019-21 be defeating India at Lord’s. The team are No. 1 in ODIs and are currently going through a successful series against Ireland. NZ faced some harsh results on their tour to England, but the boys will be looking to get a big one in the bag in coming time.

Australia

Five time World Cup Champs and the current champions of the T20 World Cup 2021. The Aussies have been one of the most prominent teams in World Cricket and their impeccable record surely proves it. David Warner, Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Aaron Finch, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazelwood, Glenn Maxwell are some of the big names which have contributed in the past for the team. Australia have a complete balance of both batting and bowling. They will be looking to create history by winning the T20 World Cup for the second time at their home grounds this time.

England

The Englishman have completely been on a roll since Eoin Morgan took over the leadership in 2015. Due to Morgan, the England team were crowned World Champions in 2019 and they earned their long due of over the years. With their new form in Test cricket, the lads will be surely giving a tough time to oppositions and will be looking to overcome every obstacle. The T20I side is something which needs to be a bit refurnished but now under the captaincy of Jos Buttler, the players will be putting their A game on.

Pakistan defeated India in the T20 World Cup in 2021, which is their first victory over India in World Cups, and moreover it was India’s first defeat by 10 wickets in T20Is. Batter Babar Azam is in top five rankings of every format and Shaheen Afridi in top 10 of every format of the game.
