Saquon Barkley, most overrated player in NFL?

The former New York Giants defensive lineman, Chris Canty, has recently released the list of the NFL’s top five most overrated players. Many would be thinking that Canty would be biased to the Dallas Cowboys, however, he wasn’t.

He listed Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott as the first one and Saquon Barkley also among the top five.

“I’m down on him – he still doesn’t know how to play running back enough. He’s a bouncer. He’s going to have to learn that 4 – yard runs in this league are good, instead of stopping, cutting it back and losing 2. And he gets his ass kicked in protection.” said the former coach to ESPN.

Moreover, a Network analyst of NFL has also suggested that Barkley no longer belongs to the “superstars club.”

“I think I said it before, when the tables turn, just make sure you’re on the side of that table. Just stay on that side,” Barkley told reporters in June.

Saquon Barkley will ow join the rest of the squad on from the 26 July, that will be when he reports for the training camp ahead of what he feels will be a redemption season.

Barkley prior to joining NFL, he has played college football at Penn State for a period of three seasons.
