Rahul Dravid looses his cool in the first ODI; IND v WI

Former India cricketer and current head coach of the Indian cricket team Rahul Dravid is regarded as a true gentleman of the game and a gem of a person on and off the cricket field. The man respects his teammates and worships the game too. Moreover, he is hardly seen reacting to anything in his surroundings.

However, in the first ODI between India and West Indies at Trinidad, the boss lost his composed side for some time in the last over of the match. India defeated the Windies by 3 runs as the game went down to the wire. Mohammed Siraj was bowling the final one, Dravid was in the stands with the rest of teammates and all of them lost their calm ahead of the last ball.

It was looking like the field placement was the main issue.

Moreover, in the 2014 IPL edition, an incident like this also occurred with Dravid getting out of hands, the then Rajasthan Royals skipper was seen throwing his cap in an aggressive manner as the RR were knocked out of the richest league in the world.

As far as the first ODI is concerned, Siraj comfortably defended 15 runs of the last over and helped the Men in Blue take a 1-0 lead in the three match series.

Second ODI will be on 24th at the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad (7 pm IST).
