French star Karim Benzema has been at Santiago Bernabeu for quite a while now. In the past 13 years Benzema has scored 323 goals, 159 assists and also got his hands on 22 trophies. Moreover, he is regarded as one of the best forwards of his generation and ranks as Real Madrid’s joint-second highest all time top scorer in the club’s history.
After the departure of Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema became the center of attraction for the club and was the ‘one man show’ on many occasions for the Real’s. Now, over spending a lot of time in Real Madrid colours, the player is definitely happy at his place. Benzema first contract was valid only till 2016. However, the management and the coaches showed faith and must thought the he has a lot of potential in him.
Karim is also one of the favourites to win the 2022 Ballon d’Or this year.
With the support of Casemiro, Kroos and Modric, the France international has flourished completely over the past couple of years and Madrid winning the La Liga this season, a huge credit goes to Karim Benzema.
