After a successful ODI series against the Windies, the Men in Blue square off in a five match T20I series. The first match is being played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy. West Indies won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is back and off to a flying start, the Mumbai Indians captain made 64 runs in 44 balls, with 7 fours and 2 sixes, when in the 15th over Jason Holder dismissed him.

Suryakumar Yadav was looking good and was willing to hit a big one but Akeal Hosein got the better of him. The pick of the bowlers from the West indies was Akeal Hosein who bowled 4 overs, 14 runs and a wicket, Jason Holder was the most expensive of them all with 4 overs, 50 runs and 1 wicket.
