India lose three quick wickets, the home side in full control

India is currently playing England in the rescheduled fifth Test at the Edgebaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. After losing both openers, Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara. However, the situation didn’t change much as well as the Englishman dismissed the likes of Virat Kohli, Hanuma Vihari and Shreyas Iyer in quick succession. At that time India were hanging on 98 for five.

England had an extremely impressive Test series at home against New Zealand where the whitewashed the Kiwis by 3 – 0. With the duo of Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes as the new coach and captain, England seem to be on a roll.

With Rohit Sharma testing positive for Covid – 19, Jasprit Bumrah is leading the side and what is the sixth captain for India in the year  2022. The young India squad were incredible in Ireland in their two T20Is against the Irishman.

With their tour of England, India are also having ODIs and T20Is series against England. One question which is popping up again is when will Virat Kohli’s bad form end, the former skipper is going through a rough time at the crease since the past couple of years.

At the moment, India are 109/5 in 32 overs with Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja batting.
