Gerrard has high hopes for Rangers

Aston Villa head coach will be cheering Rangers in the Europa League final against Eintracht Frankfurt after sharing his well wishes to the club. Former England captain Steven Gerrard, Ranger ex boss has led the team to 16 finishes before departing for Aston Villa earlier this season.

Gerrard took to Instagram to share a picture of a Ranger scarf in the The Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium accompanied by the text, “Good Rangers. Let’s go!”

Rangers have not won the Europa League since 1972 but did reach the UEFA Cup Final in 2008. Falling short against Zenit St Petersburg. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon have already shown their support for Ranger’s boys.
