Bangladesh vs Afghanistan; Asia Cup 2022

Its Bangladesh up against Afghanistan in Match 3 of the Asia Cup, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first, but it seems like it has not gone well in their favour. The Bengal Tigers are six wickets down, courtesy Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Rashid Khan.

As soon as Mujeeb scalped three wickets, it was Rashid Khan who joined the party to put Bangladesh in big trouble. Mohammad Naim, Anamul Haque and Shakib Al Hasan all fell to the Afghan off spinner. On the other hand, Rashid got the better of Mushfiqur Rahim, Afif Hossain and Mahmudullah.

It look like after completely dominating Sri Lanka in their opening game, the situation will be same for Bangladesh as well as the Afghanis are in full control.

Afghanistan won the first game against Sri Lanka as well as India defeated arch rivals Pakistan in the second game of the tournament.

Bangladesh have ended their innings on 127/7, with the seventh wicket a runout by Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Mosaddek Hossain was the top scorer for Bangladesh with a 31 ball 48.
