Los Angeles Lakers player Anthony Davis has missed the playoffs this season for the seventh time out of the last nine seasons, Davis was going through another injury year. The star only played 40 games and 76 over the last couple of seasons.
The Lakers star was out of action since April 5 and has claimed that it was probably the last time he had a shot at basketball. “I haven’t shot a basketball since maybe like April 5th,” Davis said in a video posted to Youtube on Friday.
It will be a new look team of the Lakers when Davis joins them back at the start of training camp. The new coach of LA Lakers is now Darvin Ham.
If Davis stays fit and is away from injuries, the Lakers have a strong chance for the NBA championship, Davis and LeBron James led the Lakers to a title win in the 2019 – 20 coronavirus season.
