A video from the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh went viral. Tribal women are sexually harassed and assaulted in full view of the public. This is terrifying. Because they are members of the oppressed section of society, these women are subjected to this on a daily basis.

In Alipur district Madhya Pradesh, a group of saffron goons are publicly wooing tribal girls. If these girls were in the dark, they would have become another Nirbhaya. The Bhil tribals here have a ‘Bhagoria Mela’ before Holi. In which the saffron goons also arrived.
Sexual harassment is a major problem in our society today. It has become so common that many people see sexual harassment as an acceptable part of everyday life. This type of behaviour would not be tolerated if it was about someone’s race, religion or gender identity but because it’s about sexuality, the issue can often be swept under the rug.
SP Alirajpur said the youths have been identified and the hunt for their arrest continues.
