Super Typhoon Rai Hits the Philippines, destroyed millions of lives

Super typhoon Rai hits the Philippines island on 16 November and is one of the strongest recorded this year. Locally named, Odette affected millions of lives and several are killed.

Typhoon Rai, which blow winds of up to 195 km per hour on 16 November and displaced more than thousands of people, damaged homes and demolished energy and transmission lines, confounding the disaster response.

A huge number of houses and buildings, involving an airport and a hotel, were destroyed by the wind or bombarded by floodwaters, officers said. Some people are encouraging the nation and delivering funds for affected lives.
