Subramanian Swamy reacts comically on new Govt directions for Aadhar

Subramanian Swamy shares a cartoon comic image which he found relatable on Govt’s new directions for Aadhar.

Subramanian is an Indian Politician, economist and currently a Member of Rajya Sabha.

Before commencing Politics, he was a professor of Mathematical Economics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Recently, UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) released a caution on Aadhar card usage.

The UIDAI asked the public to use masked Aadhar cards in which only the last four digits are visible.

Although the whole photocopy of an Aadhar card can be misused, the advisory specifically stated that people should not share their Aadhar card details to unlicensed private Hotels, Theatres, Malls,etc.

Besides these advisory cautions, Aadhar card details are the basic documents needed for any work we do.

Aadhar card is considered as a permanent and licensed photo ID proof for every indian.

So, keeping UIDAI instructions in mind, People are not supposed to share the photocopy of their Aadhar card.

So from now, if any private, unlicensed Cinema halls, malls, hotels asks for a photocopy, then it is an offence under Aadhar Act 2016.

However, Subramanian Swamy expresses his confusion on this new Aadhar instructions.
