Thursday afternoon, a “powerful blast” took place that tumbled the Ludhiana Court Complex. According to reports, two people died and four are injured in the explosion yet.
The blast reportedly occurred in a washroom on the second floor of the District and Sessions court complex at around 12:22 PM.
As a loud blast took place, a large crowd gathered near the place to save the ones affected. There was a lawyers protest on Wednesday which actually became the reason for the survival of a large number of people as there were only a few people present at the time of the incident.
The blast in Ludhiana court was massive and the walls are seriously damaged and the glasses of windows also shattered to nearby places. The videos of the location shows heavy smoke and fumes near the building.
Police and rescue officers reached the location as soon as possible and are trying to save the injured. The cause of the blast is yet unknown.
