Kiran Bedi wanted strict action against the Two IAS officers rather than transfer for Dog at Stadium
As soon as the news broke out that Two IAS officers, husband and wife vacated a complete stadium just to let their dog loose has gained criticism from all parts of the internet. People started trending that athletes are not allowed to work out late in the stadiums while these IAS officers were given special privileges to these bureaucrats.
The incident came into the light after athletes were told to vacate the stadium after 7 PM IST for the IAS officers. Several athletes came forward against this incident and said we are not allowed to workout late and this causes injuries to us.
The two IAS officers in question are husband and wife. One is Sanjeev Khirwar IAS from the 1994 cadre and the other is Rinku Dugga also from the 1994 cadre.
Kiran Bedi took to Twitter who also served as an IPS officer in Delhi. Kiran Bedi is an Indian social activist, professional tennis player, and politician who served as the 24th Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry from 28 May 2016 to 16 February 2021. She was the first woman in India to join the officer ranks of the Indian Police Service in 1972.
She said about these two IAS officers IF the incident of dog walking in the stadium by this IAS is found correct, then why being sent to another UT Why not he proceeds on leave pending the decision to assess whether he is fit to continue in the service.
