BJP will give Samsung Galaxy M-12 smartphones to 10,000 high-achieving students on the eve of Independence day

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Gov. will reportedly contribute Samsung Galaxy M-12 smartphones to 10,000 meritorious students of class 10th and 12th standards on August 15, 2022, during the even of Independence day in Himachal.

Reportedly Himachal is quite well known for conducting campaigns for the betterment of the students in the educational sector. In 2021 the Himachal CM Jai Ram Thakur including Education Minister Govind Thakur mobilized more than 11000 smartphones to economically challenged households so that their children can learn from the safety of their homes amid the pandemic. The campaign was well appreciated by public figure & actor Yami Gautam for the government’s effort to teach India amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year on July 20 the government again announced to give smartphones to high achieving students who have scored high marks in the exams and showed excellency. The smartphone campaign is initiated to motivate the students to learn more on various digitalized platforms in an effort to continue the digital India initiative.

The Samsung Galaxy M-12 smartphones will cost around INR 11,499 each which will be effortlessly contributed during the Independence day ceremony in Himachal Pradesh.
