Emmy Awards nominated TV series; Aarya will premiere its 3rd Season on Disney+ Hotstar on 3rd November

The original Indian crime-thriller drama TV series Aarya on Disney+ Hotstar is all set to premiere its 3rd Season on the streaming platform on November 3, 2023. The series is co-created by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi. The series is based on the Dutch drama series Penoza.

The series was recently nominated for the International Emmy Awards for Best Drama Series. You can check the trailer for the third season here, which was released recently.

Premise: The series revolves around the trials and tribulations of Aarya Sareen, dedicated to the roles of a mother and wife. However, she is naïve when it comes to the illegal business of which even her husband is a part.  Tej Sareen, Aarya’s husband undergoes a mysterious killing. The world pours down on Aarya and she joins the gangs when the drug mafia and illegal syndicates aim to kill Tej’s entire family. The series is a journey of Aarya in becoming the mafia queen with the aim of seeking revenge, while also playing the role of a mother.

Season 2 summary: In this season, Aarya shifts to Austria while her father, brother, and Shekhawat are stuck in the ongoing drug case. With no option in hand, Aarya returns to India to testify in the case. However, new threats await Aarya in India.

The first season was released on 19 June 2020 on Disney+ Hotstar, and subsequently, the second season premiered on 10 December 2021.

Cast: The series, Aarya features Sushmita Sen as the protagonist, Aarya Sareen. Chandrachur Singh, Namit Das, Ankur Bhatia, and Vikas Kumar are seen playing other major roles in the series.

Ram Madhvani, Sandeep Modi and Vinod Rawat directed the first season, while Kapil Sharma replaced Sandeep Modi in the second season.
