Indians are remarkably talented and are giving their amazing contributions to the largest tech corporations globally.

Indians are inspiring millions of minds across the world. It’s because of their astounding work towards these tech organizations that India is now known as one of the great sources of IT expertise. Consequently, serving some of the world’s most prominent corporations.

Many of the Indians made their India proud because of their amazing works and contributions. Here are some of them who made a great examples of pride in the global tech industry:

 

1. Parag Agrawal

Parag Agrawal is India’s first person who has become the CEO of the world’s major tech company. He is the new CEO of the leading tech company called Twitter. Parag got this position after the company’s co-founder Jack Dorsey resigned from the CEO position. Parag was till now working as a Chief technology Officer on Twitter.

Parag completed his doctorate degree from the Stanford University and also he is an alumnus of IIT bombay. Parag also became the first recipient of Twitter’s “Distinguished Engineer” title. Initially, he also worked with the top companies like the Yahoo and Microsoft. He is 37 years old and is one of the youngest CEO of the world’s top 500 companies. Also before him, many of the Indians sat on the higher positions of the top tech companies. The well-known companies like the Microsoft, Alphabet, IBM, Adobe is also in the hands of those people who are from India.

 

2. Sundar Pichai

Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google’s parent company Alphabet is also an Indian who is the pride of India. He was born in Chennai and became the head of Google company in the year 2014. He completed his B.Tech degree from the IIT Kharagpur.

 

3. Satya Nadella

Satya Nadella became the CEO of one of the top company know as Microsoft in February 2014. He has completed his engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology. He is also known as the Cloud Guru.

 

4. Arvind krishna

Arvind krishna is also an another gem of India who became CEO of IBM in the year 2020. He was working in the company for about 30 years and now became the CEO of the company. He completed his Electrical Engineering from IIT kanpur.

 

5. Shantanu Narayen

Shantanu Narayen, the CEO of Adobe is born in Hyderabad and is working as the CEO in the company since 2007. Shantanu Narayen completed his Bachelor of Science degree from Osmania University. Later, he completed his MBA from the university of California. He is been working with Adobe since 1998.

Also, in the space sector, Indians have contributed largely. In just three years, the number of startups in the space sector has risen till 47 in 2021 from 11 in 2019. This indicates that the steps of growth in the space sector in India have increased.

India invests about $ 1 billion annually in the ISRO ( Indian Space Research Organisation). ISRO is the custodian of every space technology in the country and was set up in in the year 1969. The Indian space made a history by launching the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle or PSLV successfully. This brought India one step closer to its GPS. India is the sixth country in the world to have this system. This system is important in war since most modern bombs and missiles depend on accurate positioning.

Presently, India accounts only about 2 percent of the space economy which is way behind from US and China. But with the recent policy initiatives and private sectors, the Indian space expects to take a huge share of the global space economy. It is estimated to be close to $447 billion in the year 2020.
