Here’s a Reddit user who is unsatisfied with Google Pixel 5a: Check review details here

The brand Google is popular in the global market. Google’s Pixel phones are bought by many users every year. However, are they really the best? Is a Google Pixel worth buying? Does it have too many issues to resolve?

Well, here are some answers. And of course, there’s a user review for you.

Well, a Reddit user recently complained about the Google Pixel 5a phone and its screen which stopped working. The user had neither dropped the phone nor damaged it. The user also added images of the phone to support the statements. This user then proceeded to file a Google Warranty claim.

Post which a response was received from team Google. The response mentioned that the user’s device was not eligible for warranty replacement. The Google team requested the user to get in touch with their verified repair partners. However, the message also added that an additional fee would also be charged for the same.

Google’s verified repair partners include UbreakiFix, Asurion as well as Google Mail-In. The repeated responses from the Google team stated the same. The user insisted that they were eligible for a warranty replacement for sure.

Google Warranty is a scam.

The user also mentioned that the Google Warranty is a scam. The user also got in touch with the support team at Google. This user was frustrated and irritated after this whole incident.  After following up with emails and receiving responses, the problem was not resolved. The manufacturer’s warranty is a concern here.

Further, the user also mentioned that the phone was not damaged or dropped at any time during its usage. Unfortunately, the user had to buy a OnePlus brand phone as their Google Pixel 5a phone stopped working.

The user followed up with their updates.

This Reddit user clarified a couple of things before sharing other updates. The Google Pixel 5a was bought via mint mobile by the user. The user also added that Google must honor the warranty of their Pixel phones even though these are often bought via third-party sellers such as mint mobile. Surprisingly, Google has stated on its website that it will consider the same. However, in reality, the user faced a lot of trouble.

The brand Mint redirected this issue to Google as the warranty is always provided firsthand by the manufacturer which is Google in this case. When the user tried to approach Ubreakifix as suggested by the team at Google, they asked the user for a warranty claim number so that they could work on it further.

The user also provided proof of chatting with the support team at Google. The user also talked to the Google team on the phone which is a valid option. A lot of time was lost by the user.

Final update by the user

As per the final update by the user, team Google finally provided a replacement for the product. The user was helped by u dm ziggy who is a tech geek. The user was thankful for the assistance. However, it was a delayed replacement for the user as the user had already purchased another OnePlus phone which the user now intends to sell.

Google must acknowledge such issues timely and protect its reputation as a big tech giant brand. At the end of the post, the user targeted Google and its brand reputation as his efforts and time were lost due to them.
