Surprisingly, Google has stated on its website that it will consider the same. However, in reality, the user faced a lot of trouble.

The brand Mint redirected this issue to Google as the warranty is always provided firsthand by the manufacturer which is Google in this case. When the user tried to approach Ubreakifix as suggested by the team at Google, they asked the user for a warranty claim number so that they could work on it further.

The user also provided proof of chatting with the support team at Google. The user also talked to the Google team on the phone which is a valid option. A lot of time was lost by the user.
