Microsoft introduces new Outlook Lite for Android devices

Microsoft releases a new lighter and faster Outlook Lite app for Android users. Outlook Lite will have a smaller app size of about 5MB download size, faster performance, and lower battery usage along with all the features that Outlook promises to provide to its users.

Microsoft says that it will require very little storage space on Android devices and it will provide astonishing service to phones even with 1GB of RAM. Its lightweight version is the reason why it requires little battery usage and will be available to all mobile networks including 2G and 3G.

Microsoft has stated that many countries still use 2G or 3G services and the tech giant has kept them in mind while designing it. Outlook Lite will be available in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Mexico, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, and Venezuela. Outlook Lite will also support Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, MSN, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Exchange Online accounts.

According to the tech giant Outlook Lite will make mobile email apps more accessible to users using lightweight devices across the globe. Microsoft is carrying in with testing its Outlook for Windows app and will eventually launch them.
