Realme GT 5 Pro to feature curved-edge AMOLED display
Realme is expected to launch the Realme GT 5 later this month in China. The images of the phone that appeared through its TENAA certification revealed that it will have a flat display. The company is also said to be working on the Realme GT 5 Pro, which may debut by the end of this year. A new leak claims that the Pro model will have a curved-edge screen.
A recent Weibo post from tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the Realme GT 5 Pro will have an AMOLED display with curved edges. It will arrive with support for high-frequency dimming. However, the tipster did not mention the exact size of the screen.
In all likelihood, the GT 5 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Other reports have revealed that the rear camera system of the phone will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX9-series primary camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope zoom camera.
The other details of the Realme GT 5 Pro are under wraps. It is speculated that the device may bear some similarities with the OnePlus 12, which is also expected to debut by the end of 2023.
As far as the Realme GT 5 is concerned, the device will come with a 6.74-inch OLED 1.5K 144Hz display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, a 4,600mAh battery with 240W charging, a 16-megapixel front camera, and an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel (Sony IMX890) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit. There will be another variant packing the same specs, but featuring a larger 5,200mah battery with 150W charging.
