Nothing Phone (1) receives update based on Android 13 : Here’s what we know so far

Nothing has been testing its Android 13 update for its Phone (1) since the past couple of months. After months of beta testing, this update is finally being rolled out officially. This update will also bring in January 2023 security patch. The name of this update based on the Android 13 operating system is Nothing OS 1.5.2.

An addition of minimalist wallpapers along with multiple color schemes has been done. This is titled ‘Improved Material You’. A new QR code scanner which is easily accessible via the notification panel has also been added.

This update provides an improved camera interface as well as an improved volume settings panel.

Above all, this update brings a self-repair feature. This will lead to the removal of cache or unused or removed data.
