Xiaomi XRING O1 – Performance and Core Details Revealed Via Newly-Spotted Geekbench Listings

These below-shared Geekbench listings are of the Xiaomi ‘25042PN24C’, and this device was previously identified as the possible Xiaomi 15s Pro and was spotted both on the 3C and MIIT certification platforms. As per the Geekbench listings, this device could be coming equipped with Xiaomi’s upcoming XRING O1 and speaking of the chip performance, notably it is more powerful than last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 but not as powerful as this year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite.

On two Geekbench listings, it can be found out that the XRING O1 equipped device has attained 2709/2723 points and 8125/8665 points respectively on the single-core and multi-core tests. The chip architecture comprises 2 x 1.80 GHz cores, 2 x 1.89 GHz cores, 4 x 3.40 GHz cores, and 2 x 3.90 GHz cores – yes, the chip seems to be a deca-core processor with 2 + 2 + 4+ 2 core configuration unlike what was said earlier. Likely these cores are going to be the Cortex A520 (1.80 GHz), Cortex A720/A725 (1.89 GHz), Cortex A725/Cortex X4 (3.40 GHz), and Cortex X925 (3.90 GHz) cores as per what has been shared by a tipster.

Also to note, for some reason, on a particular Geekbench listing, Xiaomi’s XRING O1 chip is seen under-performing with respective single-core and multi-core performance scores of 1860 points and 7449 points (~ performance in between Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chips). Additionally, the Immortalis-G925 MC16 GPU and 16GB RAM are other revealed performance specs – of the Geekbench-listed smartphone. Furthermore, the update from Weibo tipster – Digital Chat Station also suggested that the XRING O1 chip could likely be made using the 5nm process technology.

Xiaomi will be unveiling its XRING O1 chip later this month in May 2025 and the official launch has been confirmed by Lei Jun – Xiaomi CEO himself. Following its launch, more details concerning this Xiaomi flagship smartphone chip will be known. Also, the launch of the XRING O1 chip will be making Xiaomi the 4th smartphone brand globally and 2nd smartphone brand in China to unveil its own smartphone chip.
