Xiaomi 17 Ultra Indian Variant (2512BPNDAI) Receives the BIS Certification: Indian Launch Confirmed

After the BIS listing of the Xiaomi 17 Indian variant (25113PN0E1), the Indian variant of the latest Xiaomi 17 Ultra flagship smartphone has also received the BIS certification. Furthermore, the BIS listing confirms the arrival of the ultra model too in India.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra (2512BPNDAI) – BIS Certification

Xiaomi’s 17 Ultra Indian variant which carries the model number of ‘2512BPNDAI’ (‘I’ – Indian variant) has been listed on the BIS certification database, and notably this is the normal version (not the Leica version). It has received the grant/inclusion onto the database as of on the 19th of December 2025 and as mentioned above, its launch in the Indian market has been confirmed.

Speaking more, following the Chinese debut of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphone, the global launch of the iterative camera flagship was also announced. As per what was teased, the ‘all-new Xiaomi flagships’ will be unveiled globally in 2026, and the IMDA certification database of Singapore has confirmed the launch of both the normal (2512BPNDAG) and Leica (25128PNA1G) versions of the smartphone (‘G’ – global variants). Regarding the Xiaomi 17 global variant, it has been certified by Singapore’s IMDA and Thailand’s NBTC authorities, and has made its appearance on Geekbench.

New updates can be expected in the coming days as the launch time frame is almost near, and these may confirm even more details. In related, at the same launch event where the Xiaomi 17 Ultra was unveiled for Chinese customers, the brand had also released other new products, including the Xiaomi Watch 5, Xiaomi Buds 6, and Xiaomi Smart Home Screen 11.
