Xiaomi 17 pops up on NBTC, and Geekbench AI Listing shows it’s running Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Android 16 and 12GB RAM

Back in September, a device with the model number “25113PN0EG” appeared on Singapore’s IMDA certification, and many assumed it was the global variant of the Xiaomi 17. The model number lined up perfectly with the Chinese version, with the only difference being the last letter changing from C to G. At that time, though, the IMDA listing didn’t actually confirm the moniker. Now, that’s finally changed. The Thailand NBTC certification has revealed the name, and a Geekbench listing, first spotted by tipster Abhishek Yadav, has also revealed some of the key specs.

Here is more to it.

On the NBTC certification, the model number “25113PN0EG” is listed with the certification number B38863-25, matching the one we previously spotted on the IMDA listing. The same number also shows up on Geekbench. The moniker confirmed by NBTC clearly indicates that this model number belongs to the global variant of the Xiaomi 17.

According to the Geekbench AI 1.5.0 listing, the prototype managed a Single Precision score of 559, a Half Precision score of 555, and a Quantized score of 1261. The CPU layout shows a dual-cluster design with six cores clocked at 3.63GHz and two cores at 4.61GHz. The source code further confirms that the GPU is the Adreno 840, which aligns with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 5 SoC— the same chipset used in the Xiaomi 17’s Chinese variant. The listing also reveals that the global variant prototype was tested with Android 16 and 12GB of RAM.

Xiaomi had actually teased the India launch of Xiaomi 17 during the Snapdragon Summit, but it didn’t reveal any dates back then. Now, according to Abhishek, the global launch is expected in January 2026, with the India launch likely to follow in either January or February.
