Xiaomi 17 clears another certification with model number “25113PN0EG”, global launch nears

Xiaomi 17 was recently spotted on India’s BIS certification with the model number “25113PN0EI”, and it has now appeared on the UAE’s TDRA certification as well, hinting at a possible launch in the UAE market.

Xiaomi 17 spotted on the UAE’s TDRA certification

On the UAE’s TDRA certification database, the Xiaomi 17 is listed with the model number “25113PN0EG”, where the “G” denotes the global variant. The listing shows that the device was approved on 2nd January 2026, carrying the equipment registration number “ER55061/26”. The organisation name mentioned in the certification is “Xiaomi Communications Co., Ltd”.

As expected, the TDRA certification does not reveal any hardware specifications. However, since the Xiaomi 17 has already launched in China, the global variant is likely to carry a similar spec sheet. Supporting this, a Geekbench listing for the same model number “25113PN0EG” shows the global prototype running on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with the Adreno 840 GPU (the same chipset as the Chinese variant). The listing also confirms Android 16 and 12GB of RAM. Additionally, the Xiaomi 17 has been spotted on other certification platforms, including IMDA and NBTC Thailand.

Recently, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition in its home market, China. At the launch event, Xu Fei, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Xiaomi Group, confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 series will debut globally in 2026, although an official launch date has not yet been announced. It is also worth noting that the Pro and Pro Max variants are expected to remain China exclusive, while only the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra are likely to see a global release.

For India, only the standard Xiaomi 17 Ultra variant has surfaced so far on the BIS Certification, with no sightings of the Leica variant featuring the zoom ring. However, the IMDA certification recently listed the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica variant with the model number “25128PNA1G”, suggesting that Xiaomi may launch this version in select markets (*assuming).
