Samsung Galaxy S26 UL Solutions Certification Reveals 25W Fast Wired Charging, Also Spotted on NBTC

Well, it was more or less already confirmed that Samsung had dropped the Edge and Pro variants from the S26 series and will launch the lineup as the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. While the Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra were previously spotted on the NBTC database, confirming their monikers, the vanilla variant has now also been spotted. Along with the NBTC listing, we have also found it on the UL Solutions certification platform, with its battery listed on the TUV.
Here is more to it.
Samsung Galaxy S26 – NBTC Certficiation
On the NBTC certification, the device appears with the model number SM-S942B/DS, where the “DS” suffix indicates dual SIM support, also confirming the Galaxy S26 moniker. The listing mentions the certification number B38060-26 and shows connectivity options including GSM/WCDMA/LTE/NR.

Apart from this, the same model number has also been found listed on the UL Solutions certification, along with other model numbers such as SM-S942B and SM-S942N. The UL Solutions certification reveals support for 25W fast wired charging (9V × 2.77A). The model number ending with “N” is meant for the South Korean market.

Only limited details have been revealed via these certifications, but this is not the first time the Galaxy S26 has surfaced. Previous certifications, such as the FCC listing, revealed support for Wi-Fi 7, and the device was tested with 18W fast wired charging. However, based on the UL Solutions certification, it is likely to ship with 25W charging support.
Furthermore, a tipster had earlier revealed that the Galaxy S26 series will feature 12GB LPDDR5X RAM clocked at 10.7Gbps. Under the hood, the global and Indian variants are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, while the South Korean variant is likely to feature the Exynos 2600 SoC.
As for the launch, Samsung has not officially revealed the launch date yet. Going by rumours, the Galaxy S26 series could be announced on February 25th, with sales expected to begin in March.
