Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G Spotted on Google Play Console Out of Nowhere
The model number SM-E076B, which was widely expected to debut as the Samsung Galaxy F07 5G, has now surfaced with a completely unexpected moniker. The device has been spotted on the Google Play Console supported devices list, where it is listed as the Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G.
Here is more to it.
Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G spotted on Google Play Console supported devices list
As per the Google Play Console supported devices list, the model number “SM-E076B” has now surfaced, and under the device code, it is listed as “a07x”, which suggests that it could be a rebranded version of the upcoming Galaxy A07 5G. As per rumours, the Galaxy A07 5G is expected to make its debut by the end of January 2026.
Looking at Samsung’s usual smartphone naming strategy based on model numbers, the device “SM-E076B” was expected to launch as the Galaxy F07 5G. However, the Google Play Console supported devices list changes this assumption entirely, as it mentions the moniker “Galaxy F70e 5G”, which is rather puzzling.

Earlier, another model number, SM-M076B, was also spotted on the Google Play Console. This device carried the moniker Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G and shared the same device code, a07x, again hinting at a rebranded Galaxy A07 5G. This model was previously believed to launch as the Galaxy M07 5G.
Since the Galaxy A07 5G has already appeared on the Google Play Console, revealing the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, it is likely that both the Galaxy M17e 5G and the Galaxy F70e 5G will be powered by the same chipset.
Samsung usually launches its M-series smartphones in India via Amazon India, while the F-series models are generally made available through Flipkart. This suggests that Samsung could be attempting to differentiate these smartphones purely through branding, or that the Google Play Console supported devices list itself may not be entirely accurate.
For now, nothing has been officially confirmed, but more clarity should emerge in the coming days.
