Following the June 2025-released Redmi Pad 2 tablet, the next Redmi Pad 2 Pro tablet device is already revealed to be in works and its 5G variant carrying the model number of ‘2509BRP2DG’ has now appeared on the TDRA certification database. The ‘G’ in the model number points out that this will be for the global audience, and it has received the TDRA certification with the equipment registration number of ‘ER50616/25’. On the TDRA database, the device is categorized under the ‘Tablet/PC’ section, with a certification validity until the 10th of September 2028.
While the TDRA listing does not mention its moniker, its previous listing on the IMEI database had revealed the Redmi ‘2509BRP2DG’ to be the upcoming Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G tablet.
Looking into other previous updates, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro keyboard had earlier gotten certified by the SIRIM, FCC, IMDA, and SDPPI authorities, along with the POCO Pad M1 keyboard.
