Redmi Pad 2 9.7 (2603ARP14G) Clears Multiple Certifications, May Feature a 9.7″ Display and Launch as a POCO-Branded Tablet

The upcoming Redmi Pad 2 9.7 has cleared multiple certifications, hinting at an imminent launch. Along with this, the same tablet is expected to come as a rebranded POCO tablet, as revealed by the DERKA certification.

Here is more to it.

Redmi Pad 2 9.7 – UAE’s TDRA, EEC, IMDA, and DERKA

On the UAE’s TDRA certification, the model number “2603ARP14G” is seen with the branding Redmi Pad 2 9.7. If you recall, Xiaomi released the Redmi Pad 2 in both 4G and Wi-Fi variants back in 2025, but it had an 11″ display. However, this UAE TDRA listing shows 9.7 at the end, indicating a 9.7″ display. However, it is not clear what specifications it will include, beyond being a Wi-Fi-only variant confirmed by the TDRA.

Looking at the model number, the starting four digits “2603” hint that a March launch can be expected. But that has not been the case every time. Other than this, the UAE’s TDRA confirms the device got approval on 05th March 2026 with the equipment registration number “ER57396/26”.

Speaking more about this tablet, it has also appeared on the EEC and Singapore’s IMDA certification with the same model number “2603ARP14G”. While the EEC only hints at its launch in EU markets, the IMDA, apart from confirming its launch in Singapore, also reveals that the tablet will come with Bluetooth and Wireless LAN/WLAN as connectivity options.

Lastly, on the DERKA certification, two model numbers, “2603ARP14G – with Redmi branding” and “2603APC14G – with Poco branding” are listed. The moniker for the “2603ARP14G” is already confirmed above, while for the Poco, the exact moniker has not appeared on any certifications yet. Looking at the similarities in the model numbers of the two, a possible rebrand cannot be ruled out.
