Realme Neo 8 (RMX8899) appears on TENAA with 6.78-inch AMOLED display, 7750mAh battery, and up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage

Realme Neo 8 is bound to launch in China soon, with teasers already being shared on Weibo and pre-orders now live in China. And ahead of its launch, the device has now been spotted on the TENAA certification, revealing several key specifications of the smartphone.

Realme Neo 8 spotted on Tenaa Certification

The TENAA certification lists the model number “RMX8899” and reveals a large 6.78″ AMOLED display with 2772 × 1272 resolution, along with a massive 7750mAh battery. It is listed with an octa-core processor clocked at up to 3.8GHz, which matches with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC that was recently spotted on the Geekbench database, and Realme has also confirmed the same, further mentioning an AnTuTu score of 3.58 million.

The device is listed with multiple memory options, including 8GB / 12GB / 16GB / 24GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB / 1TB storage, with no expandable storage support.

Camera details reveal a triple rear camera setup of 50MP + 8MP + 50MP, along with a 16MP front camera and support for 3.5x optical zoom. The smartphone also supports 5G connectivity and includes an in-display fingerprint scanner, face recognition, gravity sensor, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. It measures 162 × 77 × 8.3mm and weighs 215 grams.

Apart from this, the same model number had earlier appeared on the 3C certification, which revealed support for 80W fast wired charging. Alongside this, a live image of the device has also surfaced online, revealing a silver colour option for the Realme Neo 8.

Looking at the design, the smartphone features a transparent RGB design, with a halo light placed beside the camera module. The camera module itself appears to be squircle-shaped and houses three camera sensors along with an LED light strip. Also, the colour option shown in the listing is most likely blue, while in the teasers it was revealed to come in a Cyber Purple colour option.
