Realme 16 Pro+ revealed to arrive with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC via leaked retail box image

Realme will officially unveil its Realme 16 Pro 5G series in the Indian market on 6th January. The series will include the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ models, and the devices are said to be made available via the Realme India website, Flipkart, and other authorised retailers.

Recently, Realme teased via its official website that the Realme 16 Pro+ will be powered by an industry-leading Snapdragon chipset that is more powerful than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. However, the Geekbench listing of this device reveals that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC itself.

Today, tipster @passionategeekz has shared the retail box image of the Realme 16 Pro+ smartphone that confirms that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC.

The tipster has also mocked the company for calling the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC an “industry-leading Snapdragon chipset.” The retail box image also reveals that the device will feature a 200MP AI camera and a 50MP 3.5x telephoto camera. It will be backed by a 7000 mAh Titan battery and support 80W Ultra charging.

Just yesterday, the same tipster revealed that the Realme 16 Pro+ 512GB variant will arrive with a Rs 43,999 box price. You can check out the previously revealed details of the Realme 16 Pro 5G series here.
