Realme 16 Pro+ Indian box price leaked online ahead of its official debut
Realme will officially unveil its Realme 16 Pro smartphone series in India on 6th January 2026, and the company has already started teasing the key details of this series online.

The 512GB variant of this smartphone is revealed to arrive with a Rs 43,999 box price. The image also reveals some key details about the device, like it arrives with model number RMX5131 and features a 17.27cm display.
According to previous reports, Realme suggested that the Realme 16 Pro+(RMX5131) would be powered by a Snapdragon chipset more powerful than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. However, a recent Geekbench listing indicates that the device may actually use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 itself. The Realme 16 Pro 5G series will be available in four colour options: Master Gold, Master Grey, and two India-exclusive finishes, Camellia Pink, inspired by Indian festive flowers and special moments, and Orchid Purple, inspired by Indian celebrations.
The series will feature a 200MP Portrait Master system, headlined by the 200MP LumaColor Camera. Additionally, Realme has confirmed AI Edit Genie 2.0, which introduces voice-based editing capabilities and new AI filters. The Realme 16 Pro 5G series will run Realme UI 7, based on Android 16, out of the box. Realme has also committed to three years of OS updates and four years of security patches for the series.
The Realme 16 Pro 5G series will be sold via Flipkart, the Realme India website, and other authorised retailers. For now, the microsite of Realme 16 Pro 5G has been made live on Flipkart.
In related news, Realme Buds Air 8 and Realme Pad 3 5G will also be launching in India on 6th January.
