Update: For its Chinese customers, Motorola has now announced the launch of the Moto X70 Air Pro smartphone, and it was this device (XT2603-1) that was certified by the 3C authority recently (not the Motorola X70 Ultra). Also to add, the Moto X70 Air Pro will be the brand’s second device with an ‘Air’ moniker after the November 2025-released Moto X70 Air, and the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra smartphone that will be coming for global consumers is believed to be the re-branded version of the Moto X70 Air Pro.

A new Motorola smartphone has now made its way to the 3C certification database. Via the certification listing, along with the Chinese launch confirmation, the wired fast charge support of this upcoming device has also been revealed.

New Motorola Smartphone (XT2603-1) – 3C Certification
As per the 3C certification listing, the Motorola smartphone which carries the model number of ‘XT2603-1’ has received the 3C certification, and it has been certified with the certificate number of ‘2025011606837519’. On the certification database, it is categorized as a ‘5G Mobile Phone’, and the charging adapter with the model number of ‘MC-908’ has been listed alongside it, revealing a 90W wired fast charge support for the upcoming device. To note, its 3C certification validity is till the 12th of June 2029, and the Chinese launch of this device has been confirmed.
Speaking more, from what it seems, this 3C-listed Motorola smartphone is expected to hit the Chinese market as Motorola’s X70 Ultra and going by the brand’s past trend, global consumers may be getting it as the latest Motorola Edge 70 Ultra smartphone.

Looking into previous updates, the Motorola ‘XT2603-1’ smartphone has already made its appearance on the Geekbench database, and performance specs which include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 5 chip, Adreno 829 GPU, Android 16 OS, and 16GB RAM option were revealed.
