Following the Moto X70 Air, the Chinese smartphone brand seems to be working on the next Moto X70 Ultra model (possibly). It has made its appearance on the Geekbench database, via which a few of its performance-related key specs have been revealed.

Possible Moto X70 Ultra (XT2603-1) – Geekbench Listing

The Moto smartphone bearing the model number of ‘XT2603-1’ has been listed on the Geekbench database, and the upcoming device has achieved 2636 points and 7475 points respectively on the single-core and multi-core tests. It has also attained 12528 points on the OpenCL test as well.

Speaking more, as mentioned above, a few of its performance specs have also been pointed out via the Geekbench database. This device will be using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset featuring an architecture consisting of 2x 3.65GHz-clocked cores and 6x 3.32GHz-clocked cores, and it will be integrated with the Adreno 829 GPU (previously DCS mentioned 2x 3.8GHz cores + 6x 3.32GHz cores and Adreno 840 GPU for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, which has now turned out to be inacurate*). The Android 16 operating system will be offered out of the box, and it is its 16GB RAM variant that has been spotted on Geekbench.

Even though the tipster (@yabhishekhd) who has shared the update mentions that the Moto ‘XT2603-1’ is the ‘Motorola Edge 70 Ultra’, considering the number ‘1’ in the model number, this is suggested to be a Chinese variant smartphone and thus, it could carry the moniker of ‘Moto X70 Ultra’ and will be brought for the brand’s customers in China.

Previously, the Moto smartphone with a similar model number of ‘XT2603-2’ was also certified by the EEC authority, confirming its arrival in the European market. Also, along with OnePlus, iQOO or Vivo, Honor, and Xiaomi, Motorola was also previously reported to soon launch a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered smartphone. The same report also noted that Chinese customers can witness the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 smartphones this month in November 2025, while the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 smartphone for Indian customers will only be hitting the market next month in December 2025.

Stay tuned for more updates.
