JBL BandBox Solo Speaker Certified by the FCC Authority: 4722 mAh Battery, Bluetooth 5.1, and More Revealed

JBL’s BandBox Solo portable Bluetooth speaker has now been certified by the FCC certification authority of the United States. Via the certification listing, its launch in the global market has been confirmed, and a few of its key specs have been revealed along with it.

JBL BandBox Solo – FCC Certification

The JBL BandBox Solo has received the FCC certification with the FCC ID of ‘APIJBLBBSOLO’, and it is revealed to be a portable Bluetooth speaker. As per the FCC certification listing, the device will be packing a 4722 mAh lithium ion built-in battery and will be supporting Bluetooth LE. Furthermore, a PIFA antenna, 2.28 dBi max antenna gain, 2402MHz ~ 2480MHz operation frequency, and GFSK modulation are its other Bluetooth connectivity related aspects.

Also to add, the live image of the speaker’s internal components have revealed that it will be supporting a Bluetooth firmware version of ‘0.5’. This suggests key specs like Bluetooth 5.1 profile, improved stereo setup stability (using JBL Portable app), improved Mac computers compatibility, and enhanced music light show synchronization for JBL’s BandBox Solo portable Bluetooth speaker. To note, the label of the speaker also mentions that this device follows both China’s CQC and India’s BIS certification standards too.

Speaking of a related update, in addition to the BandBox Solo speaker, the NCC certification database had revealed that JBL also has the SoundGear Clip open earbuds in works. Additionally, the NCC certification database revealed its live images as well. This year for its Indian customers, JBL has already by now unveiled the Flip 7 and Charge 6 portable speakers, as well as the Tune Beam 2, Tune Flex 2, Tube Buds 2 earbuds devices.
