Google Wireless Charger Spotted on the IMDA and FCC Certification Databases: To Offer Up to 25W Wireless Fast Charging

A new wireless charger from the California-based tech maker – Google has made its way to the IMDA and FCC certification databases. Its wireless fast charging speed has also been revealed via one of the certification listings.
Here’s more about it.
Google Wireless Charger – IMDA and FCC Certifications
This IMDA and FCC-listed Google wireless charger has the model number of ‘GH5UG’, and on the IMDA certification database of Singapore, it has been categorized as a wireless charger with 128kHz + 360kHz operating frequency. On the FCC certification platform, this device has received the certification with the FCC ID of ‘2APXNGH5UG’ and is listed as a wireless device. Furthermore, the FCC listing reveals that the device will offer up to 25W wireless fast charging capability, and it will be equipped with a magnetic connection mechanism and a stand (which does not have any RF transmitter on it).
Also to note, while the applicant name is mentioned as ‘Google’ on the IMDA database, it is different on the FCC database and the applicant is ASAP Technology (Jiangxi, China). Usually, if it is a Google device, the applicant name on the FCC database will always be Google, but for some reason it is not. [Probably, it could be because the product is manufactured by a Chinese company and is simply being branded as Google.]
Speaking more, Google is currently preparing its next Pixel 10 series smartphone models (Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pixel 10 Pro Fold) and these are expected to launch next month in August 2025 (likely on the 13th of August 2025). All the previous Pixel 9 series models support wireless charging, whereas the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL models support 21W/23W wireless charging with the help of Google’s Pixel Stand. The recent FCC listing of the next Pixel 10 series models also suggested that these devices will be supporting wireless charging capability, and the mentioned wireless charger could for the upcoming smartphones (assuming*).
Stay tuned for more updates.
