Google Pixel 10 Smartphone Prototype EVT 1.0 Images Shared Online; Key Specs Like Tensor G5 Chip, Android 16 OS, Periscope Telephoto Camera, and More Also Tipped

We have already come across multiple updates concerning Google’s next Pixel 10 series smartphone models and a month ahead of the expected launch date, the Prototype EVT 1.0 images of the standard Pixel 10 device have been shared online. Along with these images, a few key specs of the upcoming device have also been tipped.

Here’s more about the update.

Google Pixel 10 – Prototype EVT 1.0 Images and Tipped Key Specs

The Google Pixel 10 Prototype EVT 1.0 images (or the images of the first engineering validation test prototype) aligns with the previously-revealed first look image of the device, and design aspects such as the flat form factor with rounded corners, projected pill-shaped horizontally-placed camera module housing three camera sensors (within a Black interior pill unit) + LED flashlight + thermometer sensor (seemingly), little-thick symmetrical bezels, and a centrally-placed punch-hole selfie camera can be spotted. Also to note, the device in the images is the Black color variant (which could be marketed as ‘Obsidian’).

Regarding its specs that have been tipped, tipster @yabhishekhd who has shared this update on X notes that the device uses the brand’s own in-house Tensor G5 chip (also revealed in one of the Prototype EVT 1.0 images), and is going to run on the latest Android 16 operating system. In terms of its cameras, the tipster mentions that the device may sport a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and also a periscope telephoto camera.

Speaking more, a previous report also claimed that the Pixel 10 smartphone model will be supporting 240Hz PWM frequency and 2000 nits brightness. As mentioned, just like how Google’s Pixel 9 series models were unveiled last year in the month of August 2024, the Pixel 10 series models (Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pixel 10 Pro Fold) are expected to break their cover next month in August 2025 (~ said to launch on the 13th of August 2025).

Stay tuned for more updates.
