Realme is soon going to launch its next Neo-series smartphone in its home market, China, called the Realme Neo 8. The device has already been teased in a Cyber Purple colour option, with pre-orders now live. Now, the smartphone has been spotted on the Geekbench database, which reveals some additional details about the device.

Realme Neo 8 spotted on Geekbench
As per the Geekbench listing spotted by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the smartphone carries the model number RMX8899. Looking at the benchmark scores, the device managed to achieve a single-core score of 2876 and a multi-core score of 9245.
Speaking more about the CPU details, the listing shows a total of eight cores, with two cores clocked at 3.20GHz and the remaining six cores running at 3.80GHz. From the source code, the presence of the Adreno 829 GPU can be seen, which suggests that the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon Gen 5 SoC, something that had already been confirmed earlier.

The Geekbench listing further reveals that the tested prototype was running on Android 16, with firmware version RMX8899_16.0.2.85 (SP01CN01). The device is also shown to feature 16GB of RAM.
Apart from this, the same model number had earlier appeared on the 3C certification, which revealed support for 80W fast wired charging. Alongside this, a live image of the device has also been leaked, revealing a silver colour option for the Realme Neo 8.
Looking at the design, the smartphone features a transparent RGB design, with a halo light placed beside the camera module. The camera module itself is squircle-shaped and houses three camera sensors along with an LED light strip. HyperImage+ support has also been spotted on the device, along with 120x zoom capabilities. NFC connectivity and VOOC charging support have also been confirmed, as per the engravings seen on the rear panel.
Currently, Realme has not officially confirmed the launch date of the Realme Neo 8. However, as the teasers have already begun, the launch of the smartphone may take place in the near future.
